Jon has a BA in Advertising Communications from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Utah. While his first 7+ years of work were done almost exclusively in the real estate world, Jon knew that his skill set could transcend other industries and in 2011 Jon made a career change and jumped into the funeral industry with both feet and has not looked back.

Passionate about creating innovative solutions to help both funeral professionals and the families they serve, Jon has helped start 3 successful businesses in the funeral, cemetery, grief and loss space. Most notably, Jon currently serves as President and CEO of Domanicare and ForGrief.com, both businesses he helped co-found. Jon also serves as the SVP of Consumer Experience at Homesteaders Life Company and is leading several strategic initiatives to improve and enhance its work with consumers, align consumer experience efforts with Homesteaders’ overall strategies and support Homesteaders innovation efforts to help funeral provides connect with more people. 

Jon also works with many cross-function teams and other subject matter experts to surface deeper insights about consumer awareness, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors regarding end-of life matters. He also currently serves as a Board Member of EveryStep, a non-profit health care and human services organization which annually serves tens of thousands of Iowans each year. 

When Jon isn’t dreaming up the next business and solution you may find him on the trails of Utah riding his bike, baking wedding cakes, or traveling with his wife and four kids.

Craig Meehan is the National Sales Manager of ASD Funeral Communications. ASD is a funeral- exclusive answering service serving over 9,000 rooftops. Craig has over 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing. He started his career in the Venture Capital arena, managing several companies for an equity firm. Most notable, Craig was the Marketing Manager for Petfooddirect.com (now Chewy.com) that sold to PetSmart in ’17 for $3.35 billion. The deal was the largest e-commerce acquisition in history at that time. He went on to be a technical sales consultant for companies like American Reprographic Solutions (NYSE:ARC) and Verizon (NYSE: VZ). Since 2016, Craig has been an integral part of the team at ASD. Craig is passionate about funeral service and has found his forever home in the profession.

Will Bischoff is Senior Vice President, Strategic Markets for Homesteaders Life Company. He is responsible for working with distribution partners and funeral home owners to implement preneed strategies for long-term success. Prior to joining Homesteaders in 2015, Bischoff served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Forethought Financial Group and Operations Controller and Vice President of Corporate Development for Keystone Group Holdings. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Spring Hill College and his MBA in corporate finance from University of Tampa, John H. Sykes College of Business. In 2022, Bischoff was appointed as a trustee for the Funeral Service Foundation.
